Name:Mᴏʀɢᴀɴ Bʟᴀᴋᴇ; ʀᴀᴠᴇɴ ᴛᴏᴛᴇᴍ
Birthdate:Jul 20

Humankind has seen the Raven as a mysterious entity, associated with the likes of Apollo, the God of prophecy; fierce independence; deep intuition; and soul-ferrying Valkyries. Imbued with the spirit of this entity, Morgan is oracle, exorcist, and a guide for restless spirits.

* * *

The omnipotent spirit of lifelines, prophecy, and death so commonly presented in the mortal realm as the Raven touched Morgan and his twin brother at age thirteen, unbeknownst to them initially. His brother shortly passed away due to a terrible accident, leaving Morgan alone to reconcile his terrifying new gifts. Encounters with troubled spirits, vivid prophetic dreams, and divining life details in innocuous patterns on the old wallpaper in the living room at his grandmother's house -- all of these things became common to occur in his adolescence.

His mother was and is a fiercely supportive force in his life, their bond growing stronger in the wake of the twin brother's death happening ten years after the separation from their father in Louisiana. Every summer he was encouraged to travel from Tennessee to New Orleans to study under the witch doctors and voodoo priestesses to learn and understand his gifts surrounding life and death, and to learn how to use the products of Mother Earth herself in supplemental magic. By eighteen he abandoned his uninspired education in the public school system to live in New Orleans indefinitely, to make decent money dispatching supernatural nuisances (chupacabra and the like.)

Not to say Morgan ever became comfortable with his gifts. In fact, he didn't grow to appreciate them, feeling much too burdened by unwanted intimate glimpses into strangers' lives, pangs of insight when death was near and sure to occur, or spotting helpless looking spirits, battered and confused and pleading for his help.

But freeing mortals from spiritual oppression gave him the sense of doing something useful -- while harrowing, it was still preferred over uncontrollable insight. Morgan grew to rely on assisting voodoo practitioners in helping those cursed or possessed by cruel magic or dark entities, and he soon found a purpose for his powers that he could finally feel contentment with. It ain't easy, but someone's gotta do it.

Morgan, now in his twenties, maintains a knowledge of the supernatural and deals his unique services out for a price, or even a promise for a favor, with the aid of a mythical raven at his side, the mother-entity of his gifts in material form.

original character played by Jack White
and without his permission so he's probably very disgruntled somewhere and doesn't know yet why
